Dear
Parents and Students,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce
myself and to welcome you to a wonderful year ahead. I look forward to working with you and your
child to ensure their happiness and academic success this year.
A little bit about myself. I’m originally from Vancouver, Canada. My
husband, myself, and our cat recently moved to Honduras. We are very excited to have this opportunity
to experience the Hondurian culture, enjoy the wonderful food, and explore its`
beautiful country.
I have been teaching for close to 15 years. Aside from working in Vancouver, I spent
three years teaching at an inner city school in London, England, and two years
at the British International School in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. I have a Masters in Special Education and
have worked with students with varying areas of challenges such as learning
disabilities, autism, and down syndrome.
Some of my hobbies are: read, hike, bike, swim, yoga,
listen to music, travel, and trying new food.
